RAD Shortlisted for Two Carrier Ethernet Awards
Unique ASIC-based ETX-203A Carrier Ethernet Demarcation Device and
ETX-205A Carrier Ethernet Mobile Demarcation Device both cited
RAD Data Communications has been shortlisted as a Carrier Ethernet Vendor Awards finalist in two different categories.
Presented by IIR Telecoms & Technology, the leading provider of strategic telecommunications conferences, and the Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF), the global industry alliance that is the defining body for Carrier Ethernet, the final winners of the Carrier Ethernet Awards will be announced during this year’s Carrier Ethernet World Congress on October 12th in Amsterdam.
RAD’s unique ETX-203A Carrier Ethernet Demarcation Device, with its in-house ASIC that slashes CapEx to drastically reduce Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), was named a finalist in the “Best Carrier Ethernet Demarcation Product” category. The ASIC-based ETX-205A Carrier Ethernet Mobile Demarcation Device (MDD) was tapped in the “Best Carrier Ethernet Mobile Product” category.
The Carrier Ethernet World Congress is the largest conference and exhibition for the Ethernet networking and services industry. It is the only official MEF World Congress that incorporates the unique Carrier Ethernet World Interoperability showcase. In addition, the gathering features over 100 presentations, discussion panels, briefings and master classes.
