TDM over Ethernet Solutions

Legacy Voice and Data over Ethernet

Your Needs

Support analog and digital voice, video, serial data, and leased line services as well as Ethernet over an Ethernet access network.

Our Solution

RAD's pseudowire circuit emulation product line extends legacy voice and data services transparently over Ethernet, MPLS and IP networks.

Pseudowire transmission of video, data and voice over Ethernet

RAD's pseudowire circuit emulation product line transparently extends legacy services including video, voice and data over Ethernet networks. Pseudowire transmission of video, data and voice over Ethernet enables service providers to continue providing all current revenue generating services while minimizing network maintenance and operating expenses.

The Gmux-2000 pseudowire gateway is a central office modular chassis for aggregating and terminating pseudowire traffic. The IPmux family of pseudowire gateways handles full E1/T1, Fractional E1/T1 and E3/T3 streams, supporting ToS on the IP layer and VLAN on the Ethernet layer.

Megaplex-2100 TDM multiplexers, equipped with an internal pseudowire main link module, work opposite to the IPmux function as full service pseudowire gateways.

Vmux voice trunking gateways are used whenever it is vital to reduce bandwidth consumption, such as in connecting call centers, cellular backhauling and satellite uplinks.
